What does the programme include?
- You will train three to four times a week following a playing and development strategy under the guidance of our UEFA licensed coaches.
- You can choose from a selection of study programmes at ARC, including a full time BTEC Extended Diploma in Sport Coaching and Development (equivalent to three A Levels).
- You will have the opportunity to complete your FA Level 1 in Football Coaching alongside your academic subjects which includes emergency first aid and safeguarding qualifications.
- You will represent Burnley FC in the National Football Youth League (NFYL), English Football League (EFL), Community and Education Football Alliance (CEFA) League and AoC Football League.
- There may also be additional fixtures with English Premier League and English Football League Community sides.
- Overseas end of season training camps and tournaments provide excellent opportunities to train and play in different countries whilst experiencing different cultures.

What are the entry requirements?
To access the Girls Post-16 Academy you have to be studying on an ARC programme, preferably in Sport, although there may be other course options available. Each programme has their own entry requirements which can be found on the course pages on the website.
