3rd Prize Winner – Emily Manley (Level 2 Media Professional)
All three winners agreed that once they have completed their Level 2 and 3 Beauty and Media Professional vocational courses, they are looking forward to taking the next step to studying their chosen specialisms further at University.
Curriculum Lead for Hair & Beauty Fatou Jagne said “Nelson and Colne College Group are thrilled to have Empress Me Cosmetics join our hair and beauty employer forum … Sahdia, Anisa and Sabina provide real insight into business ownership within the hair and beauty sector for our students and support our learners in developing their skills for the future.”
Empress Me created their own version of ‘nude’ make-up after being unsatisfied with the products on offer on the high street. Founded and run by sisters and make-up enthusiasts, Sahdia, Sabina and Anisa Khan, their unique cosmetics brand is based on real human skin tones.
