An opportunity has arisen for an apprentice to join our forward thinking and friendly Human Resources Directorate.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and self-motivated individual, who are interested in an Administrative Assistant Apprenticeship role within our Quality Academy Team.
The role will involve providing administrative support to the Quality Academy Team within the directorate whilst undertaking a Business Administration Apprenticeship at Level 2. Business Administration Apprentices are employed on a fixed term Apprentice Agreement with the Trust for 15 months.
During your employment you will be given the opportunity to gain knowledge and learn a wide range of Administration skills. These experiences and skills will support you in applications for further substantive posts within Lancashire Care, within the wider NHS and within other organisations.
The post will be based at Trust Headquarters, Sceptre Point, Walton Summit and The Minerva Centre, Preston; with some rotation across both sites.

Applicants should be educated to GCSE in Maths and English Language or equivalent although this is not essential. Applicants should also possess a general understanding of Microsoft Office programmes and be able to use these to produce basic letters, documents and spreadsheets. Experience of working in an office environment through employment or work experience would be an advantage.
You will need to be hard working and an excellent team worker. Good communication is essential. You must also be able to recognise and work within your own limitations, be honest, punctual, reliable, and friendly and have a professional attitude to work.

Training to be provided
You will undertake a 15 month training programme including a Business Admin Level 2 Apprenticeship and Functional skills Maths, ICT and English If needed.
