To support all businesses we have placed accounting and finance at the heart of our curriculum, ensuring that we have everything in place for students to graduate with the skills and knowledge they need to have a successful career in accounting and finance.
Our curriculum is based on the Association of Accounting Technicians’ (AAT) qualification and covers all areas of accounting and business relevant to our graduates. If you are interested in accounting and finance then Accrington and Rossendale College has developed the contacts, facilities and curriculum to set you on the path to a successful career in accounting and finance.
Past students have gone on to work in accounts departments of small to large businesses as well as the finance departments of banks. Other career paths include cost accounting, commercial analyst, tax supervisor and senior finance officer.
