Job Description

The Company is looking to recruit wallpaper printing apprentices to learn all aspects of production, design, colour and development.

It will also encompass all aspects of wallpaper manufacture in Digital and other printing techniques in order to understand the finished product.

Key Duties

This is an excellent opportunity to learn and progress with a well-established company in a varied and interesting role.

Duties will include all aspects in the production of high quality wallpaper

Training in Digital Printing of wallpaper from receipt of the customers file to completion of the product (Good IT skills useful)

Learning other more traditional printing processes such as flexographic and Surface printing

Learning about colour, design raw materials

Organisation of finished goods

Working as part of a team or individually

An opportunity to learn the development of new products

Training to be provided

This Intermediate Level 2 includes an NVQ, and the possibility of Functional Skills in English and Math’s.

All aspects of wallpaper production

Health and Safety

Safe working practices

Qualifications Required

No formal qualifications are required; however GCSE grade A-D in Math’s and English would be preferred.

Opportunity for a permanent position within the business on completion of the Apprenticeship.
