Job Description 

Specialist Window Cleaning apprentice working on both domestic and residential homes.

Monday-Friday work with overtime available at the weekend.

Key Duties & Responsibilities 

As a window cleaner you would work on domestic and commercial premises, cleaning windows, doors and other glass surfaces. You may use a ladder to reach the first floor of a building or use water-fed poles, or work from a safety cradle, moving up and down the outside of the building. You will need to be able to work quickly and efficiently, and have a good awareness of health and safety. A good level of fitness will help you manage the physical side of the job. You will be responsible for completing the jobs given to you each day by following job sheets.

You will be responsible for the maintaining /cleaning the work vehicle & equipment & uniforms you are provided with. If any faults/damage /missing parts of either then it will be dealt with in accordance.

Qualifications Required 

  • Full UK Clean Driving License (Preferbly with no year no claims)
  • No Criminal Convictions

  • Must be physically fit
  • Eager to work
  • Good with people/clients
  • Computer/Smartphone literate
  • Trustworthy and willing to learn.


  • Verbal, written communication is essential.
  • Able to use smartphones/laptops.
  • Able to pick up things reasonably quick as will be using high cost WFP Systems.
Housekeeping Apprenticeship +

Job Description 

We are looking for a willing, hardworking person to work as part of the team and gain experience in all aspects of housekeeping, including cleaning, kitchen and laundry.

As part of our friendly team, you will be assisting our current support team.

Key Responsibilities 

Kitchen Assistant : Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to duties including food preparation and general cleaning duties whilst adhering to all the Health & Safety policies and ensuring procedures and schedules are followed.

Laundry assistant: Your responsibilities will include the laundering of all bedding, clothing etc in the home, checking stock levels and ensuring that a high standard of hygiene is maintained, preventing cross infection and fire.

Domestic assistant: Your responsibilities will include general cleaning and tidying of the home to a high standard and ensuring the home remains clean and free from odours; dusting, polishing, vacuuming, mopping, carpet cleaning and other tasks deemed necessary for the maintenance of the home’s hygiene standards.

Health and safety

  1. To help maintain a safe environment for residents, staff and visitors
  2. To ensure an understanding of the fire procedure and attend fire lectures annually
  3. To report any accidents or hazards promptly.
  4. Be prepared to provide written reports regarding complaints or accidents
  5. Follow the homes policy regarding the handling of waste and hazardous substances.
  6. To use in a safe and proper manner any equipment within the home.
  7. To prevent cross infection
  8. Report immediately any defect with equipment to the nurse in charge and in turn to the Nursing Services Manager.
